About Hoborski Days
The main purpose of Hoborski Days is to popularize the necessity of development of science and the consciousness of its proper teaching, especially within the high school and higher education teachers communities as well as industry - the latter as the consumer of the effects of conducted research and potential employer.
Prof. Antoni Maria Hoborski – ingenious mathematician who was the first rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology in years 1920-1922, he was also the dean of the first Faculty of Mining. His scientific, didactic and organization activities are a great example of combining the basic scientific research with technical applications.
